Lifestyle Shoot for Banya No.1 Wellness Spa
Banya No.1 is a unique bathhouse and wellness spa in the heart of London, offering traditional thermal treatments built around cycles of heat, cold, and rest. I spent a full day on location capturing lifestyle photography across multiple treatment rooms and setups.
Working closely with the in-house design team, I was able to plan the shoot around live treatments and preserve the rich, immersive atmosphere of the space. Given the high heat and steam conditions, I used continuous lighting instead of flash to maintain the natural low-light feel — essential to conveying the spa’s quiet intensity. This kind of real-world storytelling, often captured on the fly, is central to my approach as a lifestyle photographer.
